Semiya (Vermicelli Pudding)
Method
- Cook the vermicelli together with the butter until light golden brown
- Add the milk to the saucepan and stir continuously for 12-15 minutes when mixture should start to thicken
- When the milk has reduced and thickened, add the sugar to the milk and cook for a further 4-5 minutes
- Add the crushed almonds and pistachios to the pudding and remove from the heat
- Garnish with crushed almonds and pistachios
