Semiya (Vermicelli Pudding)

Method

  1. Cook the vermicelli together with the butter until light golden brown
  2. Add the milk to the saucepan and stir continuously for 12-15 minutes when mixture should start to thicken
  3. When the milk has reduced and thickened, add the sugar to the milk and cook for a further 4-5 minutes
  4. Add the crushed almonds and pistachios to the pudding and remove from the heat
  5. Garnish with crushed almonds and pistachios
